10 Places to Promote Music in Atlanta

While taking over the internet has become goal #1 for many artists, a successful music campaign must include street promotion, ie person-to-person interaction. Atlanta is a great place to network and meet potential fans. Although the open mic scene has slowed a bit in Atlanta, it’s still a relevant way to be heard. Even if there is a small fee involved to get on the showcase, it will pay for itself if your music is good enough to catch on and spread. Check the Events section often for local open mics. Barber shops and malls are also productive places to introduce your brand. Here are some other locations in Atlanta you should visit to promote music:
1. Supersounds (Flat Shoals Pkwy, Decatur)
2. Music Media (Candler Rd, Decatur)
3. Hoodrich Radio (Ralph Abernathy, West End)
4. Hi Fli (Stonecrest, S. DeKalb, and Greenbriar Malls)
5. Vinnies Styles (Euclid Ave, L5P)
6. Fly Kix (Peters St, Castleberry)
7. Wish (Moreland Ave – L5P)
8. New Era Flagship Store (Luckie St, Downtown)
9. DBS Sounds (Riverdale Rd, Southside)
10. DTLR (several Metro Atlanta locations)
Big shout out to Nick Love of Coalition DJs/ATLBiteLife.com for the list – he puts the “pro” in promotion. If you have any other suggestions, tweet me: @MsRivercity
