BET recently aired an American Gangster episode featuring Mac Dre and the notorious Romper Room bank robberies. We sat down with two of the crew’s key members, J-Diggs and Coolio Da’Unda’Dogg, for an in depth look into their former lives of crime.
J-Diggs:
Did the American Gangster show did a good job showing how everything really went down?
I think they portrayed it real well. I wasn’t sure if they was gonna make us look like some real hoodlums or if they’d give the real story. That was something we went through as youngsters. You can take a negative and turn it into a positive. And then it allowed us to give Dre his rightful credits. He was really a solid dude and he went to jail for something he didn’t do. Read more…
